Meet the team:

A small “Third person” snippet about our team:

Gareth:

Founder & Counsellor – Christchurch Therapy

Gareth is the founder of Christchurch Therapy and someone people often turn to when they’re ready to make real, lasting changes in their lives.

His passion lies in connecting with people… he loves listening to their stories, understanding their journey, and supporting them to create positive results.

Gareth has a natural curiosity and a keen interest in learning about all things in life, which helps him relate to people from all walks of life and bring fresh perspectives into his work.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Gareth has travelled widely, but Aotearoa has always been home. While studying in Otago, he developed a deep understanding of human development… what shapes us, what holds us back, and how we can step into the lives we truly want.

When he’s not working, you’ll often find Gareth spending time with his family, catching up with friends, watching sports, or occasionally jumping back onto the basketball court.

Known for his easygoing and down-to-earth nature, Gareth makes people feel comfortable and at ease. He has a way of turning conversations into meaningful connections, so there’s no need to feel nervous about reaching out.

“I personally believe that everyone has the ability within themselves to make those all-important changes in life. My passion is to walk alongside people and help them achieve the results they’re searching for.”
